All the boards in our Mid-Range, use the same factory as all of our Pro Boards, so they workmanship and materials are of the highest quality.

Template - We’ve used our most popular "Stealth Pro" template. This shape is a culmination of all of our Team Rider preferences, and designed for high performance riding in all conditions.

Construction - This board uses a PE Core, combined with a 2 X S5 Stringer for added strength and durability. This is then combined with the smooth PE Deck Skin & an HD Slick.

Features - Deluxe features full deck contours, deck & Nose bulbs, clipped crescent tail, channel and 55/45 Rails.

Size Guide

Suggested Sizing

As a general guide, a bodyboard should go to the rider's belly button. apart from that, there are no hard and fast rules when it comes to choosing the correct size board. Generally bigger boards are faster, but not as easy to control, and generally suited to smaller waves and beginners. On the other hand smaller boards are a bit harder to generate speed, however, have greater control and are ideal for bigger waves and more advanced riders.

As a guide, please refer to the table below. If you're a beginner, you are probably best suited to a size in which you fall in the lower end of the weight range. ie. 40kg beginner woudl be best suited to 38", not 36".

Board Size Weight Range
34" <30kg
36" 25-40kg
38" 35-50kg
40" 45-75kg
42" 65-95kg
44" 80-105kg

Deluxe TECHNICAL SPECS

Deck: PE
Slick: Stealth HD
Tail: Crescent
Features: 2 x Stringer, Deck Contours, Nose and Deck Bulbs 55/45 Double Rails, Graduated Channels.

PRO Template

Th most common template used by our Pro Team. It is designed for a high performance riding in a variety of conditions.

PE CORE

2.4lb Extruded Polyethelene core. As it has a lower density, it is a little softer than Kinetic PP Core used in many Pro boards, but has better flex properties and durabilty than EPS Cores.

2 x STRINGER

2 filament composite fibre tube inserted into the core of the board to greatly increase stiffness, recoil and durability.

HD SLICK

This a high density, closed cell thermoplastic found on the bottom of the board. It increases performance, while also greatly increasing durability by protecting the core of the board.

PE DeckSKIN

The preferred Deck Skin of our Pro Riders as it has less effect on natural flex of the core. Also provides a little more grip than IXL Deckskin.

CrESCENT TAIL

The most popular bodyboard tail. The clipped crescent tail provides the perfect mix of hold, drive and responsiveness when you need it, in all types of conditions

GRADUATED CHANNELS

These are contours found on the slick side of the board, near the tail and close to the rails. They are designed to give you rail control and making the board less likely to side-slip.

55/45 Double Rails

The two IXLPE Rails provide extra strength, while the 55/45 Rail shape allows a touch more rail to be in the water, allowing for greater control.

Deck Contours

Ergonomically designed contours for increased rider grip and comfort. This model also has Deck & Nose bulbs too.

Very happy with board and service.

First a confession: I am a lifelong surfer who bought the bodyboard to continue riding waves while recovering from a toe injury which will prevent surfing for probably 6 months. It was a great choice to go with Stealth. Francois from Stealth was super helpful with advice for my situation and I ended up buying a very well priced bundle of Delux PE board, super soft fins, board bag and bicep leash. After a month in waves of varying size I can report that all items have performed really well. It has been fun exploring waves on a new craft, getting barelled on sections that I could not normally squeeze in and taking of later and deeper than my aging surfing skills allow. The board has impressed me with its construction quality and design that allows it to hang tight and high on critical sections. It carves well too. The fins have proven very comfortable with 5mm neoprene socks (for surfing in Tas) even with a hole cut out in one section to prevent pressure on the top of my injured toe: felt bad chopping into a new fin but the rubber quality looks good and there has been no extra splitting after making the hole. I tend to paddle a lot with arms, but when required the fins provide plenty of push. The board bag and bicep leash both do their job as expected with quality looking good. Thanks Stealth for the good gear to get me back in the water. Even when I get back on my surfboard I will continue to have fun on the bodyboard when the waves suit it more.
