Stealth New Blood Kinetic – Signature Model for Europe's new boogie prince - Ethan Capdeville.

Ethan has been pushing the limits both in Competition and Free Surfing, and his signature model reflects that. While dialled a little more towards technical surfing, the New Blood is designed to work in a wide variety of wave conditions & climates.

While he's forging his own path in the sport, Ethan is also the son of bodyboarding legend Nicolas Capdeville, so we think it'd be pretty safe to say he has bodyboarding in his blood!

Template - Ethan's template is designed with High Performance, technical riding in mind, so this template features a slightly higher wide-point and a little more curve for maximum control in critical sections. It has been dialed in to perform in everything from heaving French beach breaks, South American slabs, and Warm water barrels as he follows the Bodyboard World tour around the globe.

Construction - At its core is the Kinetic PP (EPP 1.9lb) – a lightweight, ultra-responsive core that delivers unmatched projection, speed, and control. A S10 stringer provides just the right amount of stiffness for driving turns and maintaining speed in critical sections, while the Surlyn slick and Slick Mesh reinforcement ensure maximum recoil and durability.

Key Features:
Kinetic PP Core (EPP 1.9lb) – Lightweight, stiff, and highly responsive.
Wavecushion Air 8lb PE (NXLPE) Deck – Premium grip and comfort.
Surlyn Slick – Maximum speed, projection, and durability.
S10 Stringer – Composite Fibre Tube (CFT) for high-end stiffness and control.
Slick Mesh Reinforcement – Enhanced lateral recoil and longevity.
55/45 Double Rails – Perfect balance of speed and control.
AKU CNC Parallel Channels – Precision hold and drive.
Deck Contours & Slick Grips – Locked-in control in critical situations.
Crescent Tail w/ Tail Piece – Smooth release and reliable control in all conditions.

Size Guide

Suggested Sizing

As a general guide, a bodyboard should go to the rider's belly button. apart from that, there are no hard and fast rules when it comes to choosing the correct size board. Generally bigger boards are faster, but not as easy to control, and generally suited to smaller waves and beginners. On the other hand smaller boards are a bit harder to generate speed, however, have greater control and are ideal for bigger waves and more advanced riders.

As a guide, please refer to the table below. If you're a beginner, you are probably best suited to a size in which you fall in the lower end of the weight range. ie. 40kg beginner would be best suited to 38", not 36".

    Board Size Weight Range
    34" <30kg
    36" 25-40kg
    38" 35-50kg
    40" 45-75kg
    42" 65-95kg
    44" 80-105kg

    ETHAN CAPDEVILLE TEMPLATE

Designed for technical, high performance bodyboarding in a variety of waves conditions.

It features a slightly higher widepoint and a little more curve than our other Pro Model boards.

    KINETIC PP CORE (1.9lb)

A lightweight core that is fusion formed, delivering incredible flex properties, including instant recoil, enhanced longitudinal stiffness and awesome compression strength. It is also 100% Waterproof, ensuring it stays nice and light throughout your boards life. Ideal for anyone in mid to warm climates, and extremely durable for those who surf a lot!

    STRINGER & MESH

The PP/ Stringer / Mesh combo is the most common construction style used by our team riders. These work together to provide stiffness & recoil both longitudinally and laterally, whilst also increasing durability.

    SURLYN SLICK

The slick Pro Bodyboarders demand ! Finest grade authentic Dupont Surlyn™ slick skin. Surlyn™ exhibits rubber-like properties for superior projection. It is designed so as that it has minimal impact on the flex properties of the core.

    PE DeckSKIN

The preferred Deck Skin of our Pro Riders as it has less effect on natural flex of the core. Also provides a little more grip than IXL Deckskin.

    CrESCENT TAIL

The most popular bodyboard tail. The clipped crescent tail provides the perfect mix of hold, drive and responsiveness when you need it, in all types of conditions

    CNC GRADUATED CHANNELS

These channels are constructed using an AKU Shaper Machine. This is the same machine used to create subtle concaves on surfboards, allowing millimetre perfect results.

They are positioned as close to the rail as possible and lightly graduated to give the rider the perfect balance of hold on the face, release when you need it, and speed!

    55/45 DOUBLE RAILS

The two IXLPE Rails provide extra strength, while the 55/45 Rail shape allows a touch more rail to be in the water, allowing for greater control.

    DECK CONTOURS & Nose BuLBS

Slick side Nose Bulbs on the nose of the board & recessed hand grips on the rails to provide extra grip in critical situations, and extra comfort for everyday riding.
