Stealth Lip Sync'd Kinetic – A favourite template of team riders past and present!

The Lip Sync Template has been tweaked by a couple of our Team Riders over the years -  Nick Gornall, Marli Dunn, and more recently Manea Fabisch has been riding variations of this model. In the past, we've used various construction type, channels & rails but this year we've gone back to basics using the more traditional PP / Stringer / Mesh Combo.

Template - This is our narrowest board, and has a relatively low Nose-Wide Point, making it quite straight overall. This makes it quite responsive and is best suited to high performance bodyboarding in quality waves. This also makes it suitable for riders who are light for their height, or just those that like a narrower board.

Construction - At its core is the Kinetic PP (EPP 1.9lb) – a lightweight, ultra-responsive core that delivers unmatched projection, speed, and control. A S10 stringer provides just the right amount of stiffness for driving turns and maintaining speed in critical sections, while the Surlyn slick and Slick Mesh reinforcement ensure maximum recoil and durability.

Key Features:
Kinetic PP Core (EPP 1.9lb) – Lightweight, stiff, and highly responsive.
Wavecushion Air 8lb PE (NXLPE) Deck – Premium grip and comfort.
Surlyn Slick – Maximum speed, projection, and durability.
S10 Stringer – Composite Fibre Tube (CFT) for high-end stiffness and control.
Slick Mesh Reinforcement – Enhanced recoil and longevity.
55/45 Double Rails – Perfect balance of speed and control.
AKU CNC Parallel Channels – Precision hold and drive.
Deck Contours & Slick Grips – Locked-in control in critical situations.
Crescent Tail w/ Tail Piece – Smooth release and reliable control in all conditions.

Size Guide

Suggested Sizing

As a general guide, a bodyboard should go to the rider's belly button. apart from that, there are no hard and fast rules when it comes to choosing the correct size board. Generally bigger boards are faster, but not as easy to control, and generally suited to smaller waves and beginners. On the other hand smaller boards are a bit harder to generate speed, however, have greater control and are ideal for bigger waves and more advanced riders.

As a guide, please refer to the table below. If you're a beginner, you are probably best suited to a size in which you fall in the lower end of the weight range. ie. 40kg beginner would be best suited to 38", not 36".

    Board Size Weight Range
    34" <30kg
    36" 25-40kg
    38" 35-50kg
    40" 45-75kg
    42" 65-95kg
    44" 80-105kg

    LIPSYNC Template

This template could best be described as narrow & straight compared to some of our other models. Designed for down the line speed, increased responsiveness and high-performance riding in quality waves.

    CRESCENT TAIL

The most popular bodyboard tail. The clipped crescent tail provides the perfect mix of hold, drive and responsiveness when you need it, in all types of conditions

    TRANSITIONAL HULL CHANNELS

The Transitional Hull Channels start about 18 inches from the tail of the board (almost double the length of traditional channels). Being longer in length with  extremely slight graduation, means these channels keep harmony and flow, allowing water to enter and exit cleanly with minimal disturbance.

    VAX TRAX RAILS

The Vax Trax Rail is graduated concave on the bottom rail, starting in the mid-section and becoming more prominent towards the tail section of the board. These provide more hold, and allow you to draw higher lines, ultimately giving you access to more speed.

    DECK CONTOURS

"Hand to Hip" deck contours. We've kept the hand contours along the nose and rails, but added a Hip Groove contour through the tail. This provides a little extra comfort and helps to lock your hips into place.

Removing a small bit of volume from the tail, also creates a bit of a "flex tail" effect. This helps generate propulsion, drive and acceleration out of turns (or just your bottom turn). As tail is allowed to bend a touch more than usual, this energy is stored and released in a bit of a slingshot effect.

    Kinetic PP CORE (1.9lb)

A lightweight core that is fusion formed, delivering incredible flex properties, including instant recoil, enhanced longitudinal stiffness and awesome compression strength. It is also 100% Waterproof, ensuring it stays nice and light throughout your boards life. Ideal for anyone in mid to warm climates, and extremely durable for those who surf a lot!

    STRINGER & MESH

The PP/ Stringer / Mesh combo is the most common construction style used by our team riders. These work together to provide stiffness & recoil both longitudinally and laterally, whilst also increasing durability.

    SURLYN SLICK

The slick Pro Bodyboarders demand ! Finest grade authentic Dupont Surlyn™ slick skin. Surlyn™ exhibits rubber-like properties for superior projection. It is designed so as that it has minimal impact on the flex properties of the core. While it may crease from overflexing, generally these are extremely small and do not effect performance.

    PE DeckSKIN

The preferred Deck Skin of our Pro Riders as it has less effect on natural flex of the core. Also provides a little more grip than IXL Deckskin.
