About the Tour Series

The Tour Series is the Stealth Teams staple quiver. It features our most popular template in varying construction styles to suit all climates & flex preferences:

  • PE+ - Cold Water Temperatures
  • NRG ISS - Cold to Mid Water Temperatures
  • Kinetic 1.5lb - Mid to Warm Water Temperatures
  • Bat Tail 1.9b Kinetic - Mid-Warm Water Temperatures
  • Kinetic Double - Warm Water Temperatures

This series is the ideal option for travel, or if you just want to ride the same template in different construction styles.

The Tour PE+

The PE+ is designed to replicate that classic 90's Dow Core feel making this model ideal for those in Cooler climates, slab hunters or those that just love a little flex.

Template - This board uses our Stealth Pro Template. This template is a collaboration between all our Pro Riders and has been used in numerous board models over the past few years such the Golden Child, Speed Dealer & the S-Flex. It is designed for high performance riding in a variety of conditions.

Construction - This board use the new PE+ Core, combined with a S10 Stringer and Slick Mesh for durability. This is designed to work best in cooler waters, and has the most flex of all of our Pro Model Boards.

Features - We like to keep it pretty simple with these models - Crescent Tail, 55/45 Rails, CNC Parallel Channels and Nose Bulbs.

See below for detailed look at the features 👇

Size Guide

Suggested Sizing

As a general guide, a bodyboard should go to the rider's belly button. apart from that, there are no hard and fast rules when it comes to choosing the correct size board. Generally bigger boards are faster, but not as easy to control, and generally suited to smaller waves and beginners. On the other hand smaller boards are a bit harder to generate speed, however, have greater control and are ideal for bigger waves and more advanced riders.

As a guide, please refer to the table below. If you're a beginner, you are probably best suited to a size in which you fall in the lower end of the weight range. ie. 40kg beginner woudl be best suited to 38", not 36".

Board Size Weight Range
34" <30kg
36" 25-40kg
38" 35-50kg
40" 45-75kg
42" 65-95kg
44" 80-105kg

Pro Template

The most common template used by our Pro Team. It is designed for a high performance riding in a variety of conditions.

Wavecore PE+ Core

A 2.4lb PE bodyboard core reinforced with 1/8" IXLPP substrate layer (Crosslink Polypro). The IXLPP is essentially just a second deck skin material to increase stiffness.

This core has been designed to replicate the classic 90's Dow Core Flex.

STRINGER & MESH

The PP/ Stringer / Mesh combo is the most common construction style used by our team riders. These work together to provide stiffness & recoil both longitudinally and laterally, whilst also increasing durability.

SURLYN SLICK

The slick Pro Bodyboarders demand ! Finest grade authentic Dupont Surlyn™ slick skin. Surlyn™ exhibits rubber-like properties for superior projection. It is designed so as that it has minimal impact on the flex properties of the core.

PE DeckSKIN

The preferred Deck Skin of our Pro Riders as it has less effect on natural flex of the core. Also provides a little more grip than IXL Deckskin.

CrESCENT TAIL

The most popular bodyboard tail. The clipped crescent tail provides the perfect mix of hold, drive and responsiveness when you need it, in all types of conditions

CNC GRADUATED CHANNELS

These channels are constructed using an AKU Shaper Machine. This is the same machine used to create subtle concaves on surfboards, allowing millimetre perfect results.

They are positioned as close to the rail as possible and lightly graduated to give the rider the perfect balance of hold on the face, release when you need it, and speed!

55/45 DOUBLE RAILS

The two IXLPE Rails provide extra strength, while the 55/45 Rail shape allows a touch more rail to be in the water, allowing for greater control.

Nose BuLBS

Slick side Nose Bulbs on the nose of the board to provide extra grip in critical situations, and extra comfort for everyday riding.

Excellent board and brilliant service

Ordered from the UK. Francois and the team were incredibly helpful and shipped it out to me quickly after answering a few questions; arrived in 9 days.

The board is excellent, decent flex right out of the box and definitely has that old school Dow core feel, but improved with a layer of mesh and the stringer. All the pros of a flexi PE core but with a construction that should stand the test of time.

Perfect board for a frosty UK winter and spring. Have definitely been recruited into the Stealth Army!

Old Dow core feeling. Love it.
