About the Tour Series

The Tour Series is the Stealth Teams staple quiver. It features our most popular template in varying construction styles to suit all climates & flex preferences:

  • PE Tension Tech - Cold Water Temperatures
  • NRG ISS - Cold to Mid Water Temperatures
  • Kinetic 1.5lb - Mid to Warm Water Temperatures
  • Kinetic 1.9lb Bat
  • Kinetic Double - Warm Water Temperatures

This series is the ideal option for travel, or if you just want to ride the same template in different construction styles.

The Tour Kinetic Bat

Instead of a different core, this model of the Tour Series uses our most popular core (kinetic) & most popular shape with the addition of a Bat Tail.

Template - This board uses our Stealth Pro Template. This template is a collaboration between all our Pro Riders and has been used in numerous board models over the past few years such the Golden Child, Speed Dealer & the S-Flex. It is designed for high performance riding in a variety of conditions.

Construction - This board uses the popular 1.9lb Kinetic Core, combined with a S10 Stringer and Slick Mesh for durability. This is the perfect option for those looking for strength & durability in Mid-Warm Climates

Features - We like to keep it pretty simple with these models - Bat Tail, 55/45 Rails, CNC Parallel Channels and Nose Bulbs.

Size Guide

Suggested Sizing

As a general guide, a bodyboard should go to the rider's belly button. apart from that, there are no hard and fast rules when it comes to choosing the correct size board. Generally bigger boards are faster, but not as easy to control, and generally suited to smaller waves and beginners. On the other hand smaller boards are a bit harder to generate speed, however, have greater control and are ideal for bigger waves and more advanced riders.

As a guide, please refer to the table below. If you're a beginner, you are probably best suited to a size in which you fall in the lower end of the weight range. ie. 40kg beginner woudl be best suited to 38", not 36".

Board Size Weight Range
34" <30kg
36" 25-40kg
38" 35-50kg
40" 45-75kg
42" 65-95kg
44" 80-105kg

Pro Template

The most common template used by our Pro Team. It is designed for a high performance riding in a variety of conditions.

KINETIC PP CORE (1.9LB)

A lightweight core that is fusion formed, delivering incredible flex properties, including instant recoil, enhanced longitudinal stiffness and awesome compression strength. It is also 100% Waterproof, ensuring it stays nice and light throughout your boards life. Ideal for anyone in mid to warm climates, and extremely durable for those who surf a lot!

STRINGER & MESH

The PP/ Stringer / Mesh combo is the most common construction style used by our team riders. These work together to provide stiffness & recoil both longitudinally and laterally, whilst also increasing durability.

SURLYN SLICK

The slick Pro Bodyboarders demand ! Finest grade authentic Dupont Surlyn™ slick skin. Surlyn™ exhibits rubber-like properties for superior projection. It is designed so as that it has minimal impact on the flex properties of the core.

PE DeckSKIN

The preferred Deck Skin of our Pro Riders as it has less effect on natural flex of the core. Also provides a little more grip than IXL Deckskin.

DELTA BAT TAIL

The bat tail increases overall surface area and lifts the riders body out of the water a little more, reducing drag. This equates to easier planing, faster speeds and and an overall loose ride.

The Delta Variant has more pronounced pegs providing more hold in hollower conditions.

CNC GRADUATED CHANNELS

These channels are constructed using an AKU Shaper Machine. This is the same machine used to create subtle concaves on surfboards, allowing millimetre perfect results.

They are positioned as close to the rail as possible and lightly graduated to give the rider the perfect balance of hold on the face, release when you need it, and speed!

55/45 DOUBLE RAILS

The two IXLPE Rails provide extra strength, while the 55/45 Rail shape allows a touch more rail to be in the water, allowing for greater control.

Nose BuLBS

Slick side Nose Bulbs on the nose of the board to provide extra grip in critical situations, and extra comfort for everyday riding.
