This one is long overdue! A well deserved Signature Model for Marli Dunn.

If you watch any of Marli's clips, that's probably the best indication of what this board is designed for -  Deep barrels and big airs in quality wave conditions. As its a touch narrower, would also be suitable for someone who is light for their height.

We'd recommend his board for advanced riders situated in Mid Range Climates.

Template - Marli has grown up riding Nick Gornall's Lip Reader & Bearded Lady template, so this board is quite similar to that. It is the narrowest in our range and quite straight for down the line speed.

Construction - This board use the new K15 Core, combined with a S10 Stringer and Slick Mesh for durability. This has all the favourable characteristics of Kinetic / Polypro, but is just a touch softer making it suitable (although not limited to) for slightly cooler waters.

Features - It features all Marli's favourites - Chisel Tail, Vax Trax Rails, Transitional Hull Channels and Full Deck Contour.

See below for detailed look at the features 👇

Size Guide

Suggested Sizing

As a general guide, a bodyboard should go to the rider's belly button. apart from that, there are no hard and fast rules when it comes to choosing the correct size board. Generally bigger boards are faster, but not as easy to control, and generally suited to smaller waves and beginners. On the other hand smaller boards are a bit harder to generate speed, however, have greater control and are ideal for bigger waves and more advanced riders.

As a guide, please refer to the table below. If you're a beginner, you are probably best suited to a size in which you fall in the lower end of the weight range. ie. 40kg beginner woudl be best suited to 38", not 36".

Board Size Weight Range
34" <30kg
36" 25-40kg
38" 35-50kg
40" 45-75kg
42" 65-95kg
44" 80-105kg

Dunnos Template

This template could best be described as narrow & straight compared to some of our other models. Marli's shape is designed for down the line speed and high performance riding in quality waves.

CHISEL TAIL

Exclusive to Stealth Boards, the Chisel tail has been designed predominantly to work with our Vax Trax Rails & Transitional Hull Channels. The Rails provide extra hold, however the wider pegs of the Chisel offset this with extra drive.

TRANSITIONAL HULL CHANNELS

The Transitional Hull Channels start about 18 inches from the tail of the board (almost double the length of traditional channels). Being longer in length with  extremely slight graduation, means these channels keep harmony and flow, allowing water to enter and exit cleanly with minimal disturbance.

VAX TRAX RAILS

The Vax Trax Rail is graduated concave on the bottom rail, starting in the mid-section and becoming more prominent towards the tail section of the board. These provide more hold, and allow you to draw higher lines, ultimately giving you access to more speed.

DECK CONTOURS

"Hand to Hip" deck contours. We've kept the hand contours along the nose and rails, but added a Hip Groove contour through the tail. This provides a little extra comfort and helps to lock your hips into place.

Removing a small bit of volume from the tail, also creates a bit of a "flex tail" effect. This helps generate propulsion, drive and acceleration out of turns (or just your bottom turn). As tail is allowed to bend a touch more than usual, this energy is stored and released in a bit of a slingshot effect.

K15 CORE (1.5lb PP)

The best of both worlds! The K15 Core has all the benefits of regular PP with a touch of added softness making it ideal for Cool-Warm climates or those who like a touch of flex.

Like regular PP, it is lightweight & waterproof with incredible flex and recoil properties whilst still retaining stiffness.

STRINGER & MESH

The PP/ Stringer / Mesh combo is the most common construction style used by our team riders. These work together to provide stiffness & recoil both longitudinally and laterally, whilst also increasing durability.

SURLYN SLICK

The slick Pro Bodyboarders demand ! Finest grade authentic Dupont Surlyn™ slick skin. Surlyn™ exhibits rubber-like properties for superior projection. It is designed so as that it has minimal impact on the flex properties of the core. While it may crease from overflexing, generally these are extremely small and do not effect performance.

PE DeckSKIN

The preferred Deck Skin of our Pro Riders as it has less effect on natural flex of the core. Also provides a little more grip than IXL Deckskin.
