Stealth Pro Template
The most common template used by our Pro Team. It is designed for a high performance riding in a variety of conditions.

Kinetic pp CORE (1.9lb PP)
A lightweight core that is fusion formed, delivering incredible flex properties, including instant recoil, enhanced longitudinal stiffness and awesome compression strength. It is also 100% Waterproof, ensuring it stays nice and light throughout your boards life. Ideal for anyone in mid to warm climates, and extremely durable for those who surf a lot!

STRINGER & MESH
The PP/ Stringer / Mesh combo is the most common construction style used by our team riders. These work together to provide stiffness & recoil both longitudinally and laterally, whilst also increasing durability.

SURLYN SLICK
The slick Pro Bodyboarders demand ! Finest grade authentic Dupont Surlyn™ slick skin. Surlyn™ exhibits rubber-like properties for superior projection. It is designed so as that it has minimal impact on the flex properties of the core. While it may crease from overflexing, generally these are extremely small and do not effect performance.

PE DeckSKIN
The preferred Deck Skin of our Pro Riders as it has less effect on natural flex of the core. Also provides a little more grip than IXL Deckskin.

CHISEL TAIL
Exclusive to Stealth Boards, the Chisel tail has been designed predominantly to work with our Vax Trax Rails & various Hull Concaves. The Rails provide extra hold, however the wider pegs of the Chisel offset this with extra drive.

TORUS CHANNEL
On the Torus Channel, the wider points of the channel are at the nose and tail of the board. This allows water to be welcomed into the channel, then squeezed through the narrower centre point at greater speed, before released through the slight concave in the tail at a reduced pressure, much like the Venturi effect.
This channel shape also allows for increased lift around your shoulder & elbows while still allowing plenty of hold through your hips.

VAX TRAX RAILS
Compared to usual, we've kept the Vax Trax quite subtle on this model as rider feedback suggested the Torus Channel provide some extra hold itself.
The Vax Trax Rail is graduated concave on the bottom rail, starting in the mid-section and becoming more prominent towards the tail section of the board. These provide more hold, and allow you to draw higher lines, ultimately giving you access to more speed.

DECK CONTOURS
"Hand to Hip" deck contours. We've kept the hand contours along the nose and rails, but added a Hip Groove contour through the tail. This provides a little extra comfort and helps to lock your hips into place.
Removing a small bit of volume from the tail, also creates a bit of a "flex tail" effect. This helps generate propulsion, drive and acceleration out of turns (or just your bottom turn). As tail is allowed to bend a touch more than usual, this energy is stored and released in a bit of a slingshot effect.
Suggested Sizing
As a general guide, a bodyboard should go to the rider's belly button. apart from that, there are no hard and fast rules when it comes to choosing the correct size board. Generally bigger boards are faster, but not as easy to control, and generally suited to smaller waves and beginners. On the other hand smaller boards are a bit harder to generate speed, however, have greater control and are ideal for bigger waves and more advanced riders.
As a guide, please refer to the table below. If you're a beginner, you are probably best suited to a size in which you fall in the lower end of the weight range. ie. 40kg beginner woudl be best suited to 38", not 36".
Board Size | Weight Range |
34" | <30kg |
36" | 25-40kg |
38" | 35-50kg |
40" | 45-75kg |
42" | 65-95kg |
44" | 80-105kg |
